Are your products tested on animals?
No Animology products or ingredients have been tested on animals.
For clarity however, it has been illegal to sell any cosmetic product in the EU that has been tested on animals since 2009 and obviously the majority of companies ceased testing many years prior to this. Animology was launched in 2010, so this pre-dates our existence as a brand. In terms of the specific history of the ingredients we use, this is impossible to quantify. All of the ingredients we use are commonly used by most other manufacturers in their shampoo and cosmetic products, and some of those ingredients have been around for decades. We can only speak in terms of the time in which Animology has been in existence, during which none of our products or the ingredients they contain have been tested on animals at all.
Can I use Animology on my puppy?
You can use any of our products on puppies from just six weeks old! We even have a range of puppy shampoos and sprays that are infused with our ‘Baby’ scent.
Is Animology suitable for dogs with sensitive skin?
Yes, Animology is ideal for dog’s with sensitive skin!
Our products have been developed with a low foam formula, making it quick and easy to rinse the shampoo out of the coat, reducing the chances of any irritation.
Certain ingredients have been identified as more likely to cause an allergic reaction in more sensitive people and pets. Often we cannot leave these ingredients out altogether, because they perform an important function, such as keeping a product in good condition. We have longstanding expertise in formulating products and we use these ingredients at the minimum level required for them to be effective.
Scientific safety risk assessments show that products containing these materials cause no problems to the vast majority of consumers. In the case of Animology pet shampoos and spray reported cases of reaction to our products remains remarkably low at below 0.001% of all product sold globally since launch in 2010.

We love to hear about all the fundraising you are doing to help animals get the care and support they need! We get so many requests for sponsorship and raffle prizes that unfortunately, we cannot help with every request that comes our way.
Through the global reach of Animology we have supported more than 100 animal charities across the world including India, Australia and the USA as well as here in the UK.
With so many excellent charities doing excellent work we want to hear from you and give you the chance to become our designated Charity of the Month.
Each month we will select a charity, who has been nominated or nominated themselves, and they will receive £100 of Animology products, as well as a blog post and a minimum of five postings across our social media channels which are liked/followed by over 170,000 people worldwide.

How do I get involved in the competitions?
It’s really simple! All our competitions are run through our social media accounts, including Pet of the Month which takes place over on our Facebook page.
Where are your products made?
All of our Animology products are made in Lancashire in the North West of England.
Our head office is situated on a 120 acre farm in Longridge, Preston where the beauty and tranquility of the rolling green hills provides us with all the inspiration we need to create our ground breaking and much loved products.
Can I sell Animology?
We are always looking for new distributors and retailers of Animology.
All of our products are available from all major wholesalers and you can also buy from us direct by either picking up the phone and dialling 01772 786 864 or you can apply for a trade account online.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment via PayPal and all major credit and debit cards.
We are unable to accept American Express credit cards.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online store, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Switch.
By law if you purchase as a consumer you are entitled to a cooling off period of 14 working days beginning on the day you receive the products. During such time you are entitled to cancel the order and return the products (at your own cost and in an unused condition) to us for a full credit.
Use of images
Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the images used on this website are an accurate indication of the goods on offer, they are only an indication. From time to time, we may make small changes to the packaging, that do not alter the functionality of the product, in which case the product supplied may vary slightly from that pictured on the website.
Shipping and Handling
Shipping and handling deliveries to mainland England, Wales and the Scottish Lowlands:
For delivery we offer a flat rate service at £2.39 + VAT (£2.99 inc VAT) for overnight delivery. Providing that the order is placed before 3PM, your order will qualify for next working day delivery. Orders over £60 inc VAT (£50 net) are shipped free of charge.
Deliveries to the Scottish highlands and islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Eire: We currently offer a 2-3 day service at a cost of £14.99 inc VAT.
All claims for shortages, damaged or wrongly supplied goods must be made within 48 hours of receipt.
We aim to despatch all orders that are received by 3pm on the same day. Orders received after 3pm will be despatched the following working day. All orders received after 3pm on Friday and throughout the weekend will be despatched on the following working day. All orders are despatched on a next working day courier service and over 99% of orders placed before 3pm will be delivered the following working day.
If a delivery is not received within two working days please inform us or if they are damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem.
Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. Back orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. Credit Card Security Our Internet credit card processing is administered through SecPay, part of Paypoint.net, a world leading online, real-time payment service provider. This means that your card details are securely managed and processed with the absolute minimum risk to credit card security. In addition, we use Verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode – the latest and most secure technologies available to day to keep your card details safe and secure.
Should you have any problems with our products or services you can contact the customer services team between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday on 01772 786864 We will acknowledge any problem within 5 working days and aim to resolve the issue within 10 working days. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
